Interpreters and Translators ( LASJP001)
We are looking for translators for all languages to join our freelance family. Projects are currently available for bright, skilled individuals with exceptional attention to detail.
Description:
Ensure translated documents mirror the original source document.
Efficiently maintains formal disciplined operations procedures across a variety of client projects.
Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions.
Juggle overlapping projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
Degree and/or experience in translation.
Experience or willingness to work with CAT (Computer Aided Translation) Tools such as SDLX or Trados Translator's Workbench.
Translators must be able to handle quick turnaround in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Native Fluency Required.
Ability to support multiple projects by keeping accurate and up-to-date project specs.
Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadline.
Prior translation industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of one or more of the following areas: engineering, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Business and Medical sciences.

Proof Readers (LASJP002)
We are currently looking for freelance German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin (traditional Chinese) in our Berlin office to work with the Translation and interpreting services division. Positions are available for bright, skilled individuals with exceptional attention to detail
Responsibilities include:
Acting as proofreader and ensuring high linguistic quality
Meeting customers' standards and the needs of the target market
Qualifications include:Degree or extensive experience in translation
Experience or willingness to work with CAT (Computer AidedTranslation) Tools such as SDLX or Trados Translator's Workbench

Market Research Analyst (MRJB001)
Job Functions:
Determine corporate and divisional marketing and operational objectives that can be furthered by the use of marketing research. Key focus areas include:New product idea generation and confirmation or rejection of new product development projects based on their estimated viability in the market.
Documentation and tracking of market size, share and segmentation data.
Documentation and tracking of competitive intelligence.
Consumer Profiling
Key account (& prospect) profiling.
Consumer, end-user and installer profiling.
Trend forecasting (market, consumer and product).
Manage Market Research Projects from setup through presentation
Present research findings, and recommendations to marketing and product teams.
Identification and reporting of key indicators.
Conduct and commission appropriate forms of secondary and primary market research, including but not limited to, industry sales data, competitive point of sale data, demographic data, focus groups, mall intercepts, phone surveys, store exist surveys, store shops, trade shows, customer inputs and end-user based research such as QFD in order to accomplish the predetermined strategic and tactical marketing objectives.
Relationships: Internal Marketing and Product Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing Services, Product Development, Finance and Accounting
External Marketing Research Firms, Industrial Designers, Customers, Trade Associations, Advertising Agencies, Public Relations Agencies and Packaging Vendors
Successful candidates will have the following:Working knowledge of key tools and techniques of market research
3-5 years of market research/marketing analysis and/or product planning experience.
Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.
Working knowledge of market research methodology and processes.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management using courtesy, diplomacy and tact.
Experience with quantitative business modeling techniques.
Ability to use marketing database information tools and have working knowledge of market research methods and vendors.
Presentation Skills .
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Market Research, Business, Economics or Marketing.
